ACADEMIC
This is what people typically think of as giftedness in an academic setting. Identification can occur in one or more of these academic areas, and is based on a Body of Evidence. If students are identified GT, they will be placed on an Advanced Learning Plan (ALP).
Use the Academic ID Referral link (which is open through out the school year) found below if you are looking for GT identification only and not GT Center placement. Use the GT Center application to apply for GT Center.

TALENT
These are strength areas where students may demonstrate exceptionality in certain fields. Your child may or may not already have an Advanced Learning Plan (ALP) to add a Talent strength area. Each of these talent areas requires a unique application process.
